Iran’s Revolutionary Guards reportedly ship tons of weapons to Shiite militias in Tuz Khurmatu

According to Arabic outlet AraNews, citing local media sources in Kurdistan, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards shipped “dozens of tons” of various types of weapons into Tuz Khurmatu for the “purpose of Shiite militias continuing to fight the Peshmerga and taking full control of the town.”

An officer in the Peshmerga stated: “The militias are seeking to make Khurmatu a springboard for control of Kirkuk and Nineveh, later to set up a landline with Syria.”

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards entered through al-Liltan with seven large trucks carrying dozens of tons of light, medium and heavy weapons, into Iraqi territory, through the Mehran border port, to be transported later to Shiite militias within the judiciary.
